1. ere are 20 people on the bus.  A ¼ are children.  How many children are there?

5x4=20 ¼ of 20 is 5

2. There were 300 apples on the tree.   Janett eats ½ of them.  How many does she eat? Anwer is 150 Because ½ of 300 is 150. 150 + 150 = 300 

3. Mama has $5. She buys a nut bar for $1.10.

How much change does she get

4.90 cents < 3.

Azalea has $10. She gets $4.60 change after buying a packet of rice biscuits.

How much do the biscuits cost?4.40

Writing 10.13.2020

 P1 : Sam is in the Tadpoles.I am the best at backstroke in our group. My swimming Teacher said I On Saturday we got up really early and watched cartoons on TV.There was this really funny bit on “What Now” when Mike tipped a bottle of milk over Tina's head.I pretended to tip a bottle of milk over Sam's head.But he didn't laugh. At Nine o'Clock Mum got up we got told off for making a mess in the lounge.It wasn't even that messy, there just a few cushions and some lego on the floor. There was some milk on the floor too, but hardly any. Mum said we had to clean everything up. I ended up cleaning it by myself, Sam just pretended to help.

P2 : Then we went to swimming lessons.I am in the Shark's group and ght 

be able to be in the inter-club swimming competition.

 P3 :After swimming we

went to Mcdonalds for lunch. Yum!! I had

a big Mac Combo and Sam

had a cheeseburger combo.We got

some stickers with our meals. Mum had a

coffee. She doesn't like  Mcdonalds food that much.

P4 : When we got home Sam and I made a hut in the basement under our house,we got some old furniture and put it up. It looked really good, but it was quite dark .

P5 : We had some macaroni  cheese for tea. I hate macaroni cheese. I call it macaroni slime. Mum said I didn't have to eat it all, but I had to eat some. I ate a tiny bit but, Then I ate lots of ice-cream for pudding so I wasn't hungry at all.

 My Favorite Memory 

Introduction:  On 22 of september  I was at my

cousin's house and I was eating. Then My Aunty said

we are going to The Dunkirk park so she can work out and my

cousin and I can go play at the park  

P1. First we put our jumpers and shoes on then we

all went in the car and drove to Dunkirk park. We arrived

at the park. When we got to the park I drank some water 

because my aunty told me to after I did that I opened the

door and went on the field and played soccer.

P2. Next I went to the park and saw some people from my school an

it was Joshua and David I said “hi” then I went and sat on the bench and

talked to my other cousin that was there. We talked for 30 minutes, then

we finished talking then we played cheat. Cheat is like tag but you're

not allowed on the floor unless you were allowed to take 3 steps of the

park.  If you take more, someone will call “ CHEAT” and you’ll be in.  It got

boring so I went back and sat down on the bench .

P3. Later I got up and went on the flying fox. I went on

it twice after that and let my cousin go on it. I went to my

family and did the box fit with them and left. Then my friend Matthew

came and asked me if i wanna play Touch I Said yes. We called some

other boys to play with us Because it was boring, just the two of us we

played touch and my team won 11 to 9.Finally we went dominos and

got pizza and some chips from the takeaway and ate The end.

Conclusion:I had a very fun day. It was also tiring running all the

time but it was good .
